As digitalization progresses, many areas of normal life are being digitally transformed and processes are being digitalised. Health is the highest good for many people! In the context of digitalisation, one term is particularly important here: eHealth.

A key area here is digital health applications - DiGA for short.

We, [bornholdt lee], have specialised in the digital transformation of healthcare. Thus, we try to make the world and people's health a little better and, above all, easier every day with digital solutions and digital health applications (DiGA).

Cancer is a disease of civilisation which, unfortunately, can no longer be ignored in this day and age. In women, breast cancer, also known as mammary carcinoma, is the most common form of cancer.

Every fate and every disease is different in its own way, but there is often a common factor at or after the initial diagnosis: uncertainty, lack of information and fear. Unfortunately, patients as well as relatives and friends often suffer from psychological and mental stress during the course of the disease.

For a long-term healthy life, it is particularly important to live a healthy and active lifestyle. This is where the project PINK! Active against Breast Cancer.

The PINK! Aktiv gegen Brustkrebs program, created by PINK gegen Brustkrebs GmbH and led by Prof. Dr. Pia Wülfing is dedicated to providing high-quality, empathetic, medically sound, and holistic educational support. The program offers all the necessary information – from before treatment, through therapy, and into follow-up care. 

The project is divided into several digital solutions, including the PINK! Coach App, the online program PINK! Leben, and the PINK! Website.

Together with the wonderful team from PINK gegen Brustkrebs GmbH, led by Prof. Dr. Pia Wülfing, we have conceptualized and developed an innovative app. This app is registered as a Class I medical device under the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and is listed in the official DiGA directory of the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM). This means the PINK! App is a certified digital health application (DiGA) that can be prescribed by physicians. The app features a clean and pleasant design with intuitive navigation—appropriately highlighted in pink, of course.

The website offers a wealth of information in the form of expert articles, studies, videos, and podcasts.

The PINK! Coach App supports patients during and especially after breast cancer treatment. As a digital health application (DiGA), it helps patients lead a more active and healthier lifestyle. By offering long-term guidance and encouraging lasting behavioral change in the areas of nutrition, exercise, and mental health, the app aims to reduce the risk of recurrence and improve quality of life.

In cooperation with the BKK Dachverband e.V., and within the context of Corporate Health Management 4.0, we developed an innovative app: the digital health app – Phileo!
